LEWISBURG, PA:
On August 18, 2007 Kuhns Bros. Log Homes of Lewisburg, PA sponsored their 2nd
Annual “Sprint Triathlon”. The event was organized by the Lewisburg Area Recreational
Authority (LARA).
LARA hosted the event in hopes of "Building a Healthier Community" and promoting
tourism in the Susquehanna Valley. The Sprint Triathlon is a multi-sport event which
included a 300 yard swim in the Lewisburg Community Pool, a 14.7 mile bike ride. Fanny packs and race goodie bags were
given to all participants and the first 150 registrants were given a t-shirt.

Kuhns Bros. Donates to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Through Softball Game - July 2007
On July 1st, 2007 Kuhns Bros. Enterprise was challenged to a softball game by Sunbury based
radio station 94.1 WQKX. The game was held at Harry Haney Park in Mifflinburg, but it was no
ordinary softball game. Donations were taken and baked goods sold to raise money for the
charity of choice, of the winner. After a fun afternoon, Kuhns Bros. won the game and the
donations received went to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (http://www.ocrf.org). For an
added benefit the Kuhns Bros. family matched the donations that were received at the game.

Division Launches New Website - June 2007
It is official: Country Log Cabins (CLC) is excited to announce the upload of the new and
improved CLC website – www.countrylogcabins.com. The website was live effective June 14,
2007!
The new website is extremely informative and is loaded with beautiful photographs, floor plan
options, valuable resource links, planning tools, and so much more! Kuhns Bros. Corporate
Marketing and Information Technology departments collaborated with several outside agencies
to create the highly interactive website.

The editors of Log Home Design magazine honored Kuhns Bros. Log Homes with an honorable
mention for the company’s talented staff and singular vision for the DeSoto log home custom
model. This was the magazine’s first annual Log Home Design Award Contest. The honorable
mention was received for the ‘Best Use of Exterior Space’ category. The award was presented to
Kuhns Bros. Log Homes at the 2007
Annual Leadership Conference in
Centreville, VA.
